(KWNO)-MiEnergy Cooperative of Rushford, MN and Cresco, IA will select two students for an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. to attend the 2025 Rural Electric Youth Tour this June.
The two winners, one from Minnesota and one from Iowa, will join students from across the country in learning about the history of electric co-ops. They’ll also get to visit monuments and historical landmarks and meet with members of Congress.
The contest is open to children of MiEnergy members. Students must be sophomores or juniors in high school and can apply online through March 3.
