(KWMN)- The Winona State Women’s Warrior Basketball team split their weekend with the University of Minnesota-Crookston, and Bemidji State this past Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, WSU lost a close one to Crookston, losing 80-79. Vivica Bretton led all Warriors with 22 points, while Olivia Gamoke scored 20. On Saturday, the Warrior Women bounced back with a comfortable 75-57 victory over Bemidji State. Gamoke scored 21, while three other Warriors reached double digits.
The Warriors moved to 8-9 on the year, with two more home games set for this weekend against St. Cloud State and The University of Minnesota-Moorhead.
