(KWMN)- The Winona State Men’s Basketball team once again took care of business over the weekend as they complete the weekend sweep over the University of Minnesota-Crookston, and Bemidji State.

On Friday, the Men dominated Crookston in route to an 80-64 victory. On Saturday, they did the same against Bemidji State, also winning 80-64.

Connor Drew led Warrior scorers in both games, scoring a combined 44 points over the weekend. Freshman Tyler Mason continued his impressive debut year, scoring 30 points over the weekend as well.

At 13-4, the Warriors will look to continue to keep pace with the top of the NSIC. They currently sit in third place, only a game behind SMSU and Minot State, two teams they’ve lost to once already this season.

St. Cloud State and the University of Minnesota-Moorhead will be next up for the Warrior Men on Friday and Saturday respectively.

Head Coach for the Warriors, Todd Eisner, joined the WSN to discuss the weekend sweep, and how to keep momentum.
