(KWNO)-Winona Area Learning Center students are making a difference in the community with the “Gives Back” program.

Students and staff collaborated on several project-based learning activities including reading to kids at Jefferson Elementary, baking and delivering dog treats to pet grooming businesses and animal shelters, visiting residents at St. Anne’s and creating gift bags for other ALC students with hats, gloves and other items.
The projects were made possible with financial support from the Foundation for WAPS.
