(KWMN)- The Winona State Men’s team salvaged a split over the weekend after losing a heartbreaker to Minot State in triple-OT with a win over the University of Mary.
The Warrior Men improved to 11-4 on the year.
As close as they were to being the first team to knock off undefeated Minot State, they can still find solace in how well they played them. Especially being on the road.
Warriors will now come back to McCown gymnasium for the next two weeks, with this coming weekend welcoming the University of Minnesota-Crookston, and Bemidji State.
Head coach for the Warriors, Todd Eisner, Joined the WSN to discuss the weekend.
