Annual Winona food drive collects $133K, 21K pounds of food

(KWNO)-The 10 Days of Giving food drive supports Winona Volunteer Services, and this year collected $133,001 and 21,908 pounds of food. The total for 36 years now stands at 5,095,848 pounds.

“We’re truly honored to continue this great tradition on behalf of Winona Volunteer Services,” said Andrew Guzzo, Chief Banking Officer & President – Winona. “A special thank you to everyone in our community for their generosity and support during the drive’s 36th year.”

Merchants Bank collected donations at its branches as well as at participating schools, businesses and organizations around the area. The 10 Days of Giving food drive is an annual community collaboration between Merchants Bank and WVS to make sure no one in Winona County goes hungry each winter.
