The new year will bring a new minimum wage for Minnesota workers. Due to an adjustment for inflation, the new minimum wage in Minnesota will be $11.13 an hour, up from $10.85 an hour. This will be for all large and small employers, youth, and what’s known as J-1 visa wages for hotels, motels, and lodging establishments. The law still allows a 90-day training wage for workers under the age of 20, which is $9.08 an hour.
