Trisha Paytas has quite a FAMOUS weekend. If you are a fan of Trisha Paytas, then I know you are beaming just like myself for the successes that this lovely woman is receiving. I feel like for as long as I have watched Trisha on YouTube through just random eating videos or her podcast, she has always been very vocal about all her dreams, no matter how big or small. This past weekend a few of those huge dreams came true.
Paytas on SNL with cast member Bowen Yang
First of all, on Saturday she played a cameo of herself on SNL. I know this has been one of her dreams forever, and it got to come true because of none other than Bowen Yang. She did so fantastic on the show and acted the boots down, oh and Paul Mescal was in this sketch, no biggie.
Then she went on to perform a sold-out New York Trishmas Special show and it was so awesome. This was her second of three shows she is doing, but this specific show was sold out in twenty minutes. She is singing originals and covers with costume changes, background dancers, and just her bubbly, hilarious self. I would donate two of my toes to go to one of these shows.
Beyond just this mini tour, she announced on this show that she will be on BROADWAY. This is one of Trisha’s ultimate dreams. She is doing a one night only Broadway debut titled, Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream at the St. James Theatre on February 3rd. I am over the moon for her and to be totally honest am feeling very confident in my own dreams. If Trisha Paytas can dream the wildest dreams and have the come true with positivity and consistency, then so can you and so can I. Trisha Paytas, you are that girl.
