(KWMN)- The Cotter Rambler Girls will travel up I-90 to face off with Rushford-Peterson later tonight in the first installment of the I-90 rivalry.
Tip tonight is slated for 7:15, with our coverage beginning at 7:00 on the Winona Sports Network, FM 99.3 and streaming live online right here at winonaradio.com and on the Winona Radio App.
Cotter opened their season with a loss to Caledonia, 50-37, marking the first time they lost their season opener since the 2021-22 season. Rushford-Peterson meanwhile, opened their season with a stomping over Fillmore Central, 59-20.
The Ramblers welcome back big names like Clarissa Sauer, and Katelyn Ubl but will have to replace plenty of contributors on a team that reached the section final one year ago.
Rushford-Peterson has more of a rebuild ahead of them this season, losing their leading scorer, and really, overall leader in Ellie Ekern. They welcome only one senior back in Neveah Happel, who averaged 4 ppg and 2 rpg.
