(KWNO)-An accident injured a pedestrian on Monday evening in Winona. According to Winona Police, an 80-year-old man from Alma hit a 21-year-old woman with his car near the intersection of Huff Street and Sarnia Street. The driver told officers he didn’t see the woman and hit her a low rate of speed. Witnesses confirmed the man’s account. A police spokesperson said dark and rainy conditions likely contributed to the accident and as of now no charges are expected. The woman was in the crosswalk when she was hit and suffered minor injuries.
