This past weekend, the community got to embrace their Warrior pride at Winona State University’s Homecoming! There was so much to enjoy all week long, but Saturday kicked off with the Homecoming Parade, which took a scenic new route winding through campus. It started outside Somsen Hall and meandered past the iconic gazebo, offering spectators a prime view of all the WSU spirit.

Of course, no Homecoming is complete without the game, and let’s just say the Warriors weren’t messing around. WSU absolutely dominated the University of Mary, crushing them 48-7 in a game that felt more like a clinic than a competition. To the Marauders—better luck next time!

But the weekend wasn’t all just touchdowns and tackles. The Warrior Walk got everyone in the zone before the game, with the football team, cheer squad, dance team, and drumline hyping up the crowd as they marched through campus at the Warrior Game Day Experience! Which was complete with food trucks, inflatables, and contests—that gave students and locals alike plenty of reasons to stick around and celebrate.
