Work crew hits gas line, some residents evacuated

(KWNO)-A work crew ruptured a gas line on 5th Street in Winona and some residents had to be evacuated as a precaution. According to a Winona Radio reporter on the scene, 5th Street between Olmstead and Wilson Streets is blocked off.

One of the neighbors told the reporter the work crew was digging out a tree stump when they hit the gas line.
