The man behind one of Wisconsin’s largest drug distribution networks will spend a decade in prison. 40-year-old Hector Jimenez-Sosa was sentenced Wednesday to ten years in federal prison. An investigation revealed Jimenez-Sosa was leader of a meth, fentanyl, and cocaine trafficking operation in Eau Claire. In 2023, law enforcement officers purchased methamphetamine and fentanyl pills from Jimenez-Sosa using a confidential informant. Jimenez-Sosa, who pleaded guilty in July to a meth distribution charge, was also sentenced to four years of supervised release.
