The murder trial for Adam Fravel is just over a month away and he’ll be in court today for the first of his pre-trial hearings. According to court filings, key witnesses could be called to the stand as the state and defense finalize their cases for a jury. Fravel is accused of killing Madeline Kingsbury who went missing from Winona on March 31, 2023. Her remains were found north of Mabel on June 7, 2023. Fravel is Kingsbury’s ex-boyfriend and the father of her two young children. He’s scheduled to stand trial for the first- and second-degree murder of Kingsbury starting on October 7 in Mankato.
