(KWNO)-For better or worse, fireworks are synonymous with July 4th. But if you live in the city of Winona, be careful about what you’re sparking up on Independence Day. A Winona Police spokesperson says within the city limits it’s illegal to light off any aerial fireworks or anything that goes boom. So basically, nothing in the air and nothing that makes noise. Violating the law will result in a ticket.
