(KWMN)- The Minnesota High School state softball tournament came and went over the weekend as each class crowned their champion.
Class A
Championship: New Ulm Cathedral 10-4 Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley
-New Ulm wins their eighth state title in program history.
Third Place: Russell-Tyler-Ruthton 12-1 West Lutheran
Class AA
Championship: Randolph 3-0 Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial
-Randolph wins their second title in their program’s history. Was their sixth trip to state in a row.
Third Place: St. Cloud Cathedral 3-1 St. Agnes
Class AAA
Championship: Mankato East 6-1 Cretin-Derham Hall
-Mankato East, after beating Winona in the semifinal, goes on to win their sixth state title, and second consecutive one at that.
Third Place: St. Francis 8-2 Winona
Class AAAA
Championship: Rogers 3-0 New Prague
-Rogers wins their first ever state softball title.
Third Place: Rosemount 3-2 Forest Lake
