(KWNO)-Jesse Ventura is coming to Lanesboro to promote his cannabis business. According to a press release the former Minnesota governor will be in Lanesboro on June 15 for a meet-and-greet at Parkway Place from 12 pm to 1 pm. The wrestler turned actor turned politician is now the proprietor of Jesse Ventura Farms, which aims to create “high quality, great tasting (cannabis) products imbued with the wildly unique style and honest passion of Jesse Ventura.”
While serving as governor from 1999-2003 Ventura pushed for legalizing recreational cannabis. He is outspoken about using cannabis to alleviate pain during his wrestling career and also credits cannabis with helping his wife through health issues.
