(KWNO)-A traffic stop by Goodview Police led to a pursuit that ended in Wabasha. According to a Winona County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson on Saturday just before midnight, Goodview Police pulled over 20-year-old Alexia Grace Brown of Arcadia for speeding. Brown drove off during the stop and a pursuit involving officers from Goodview PD and the Winona County Sheriff’s Office ensued. The spokesperson said Brown fled on Highway 61 making several U-turns and driving erratically. The chase eventually ended in Wabasha when Brown’s vehicle crashed into a sand pile. A WCSO deputy also crashed into the sand pile and suffered minor injuries. Brown was not hurt. She’s charged with DWI, fleeing from a peace officer and multiple traffic violations.
