Gordon “Gordy” Rohrich, age 74 of Winona, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2024. Gordy was born on March 14, 1950, in Fargo, ND. He graduated from West Fargo High School in 1968 and attended Dunwoody College of Technology to become a tool and die cast machinist.
Gordy will always be remembered as an adventurous man who had a zest for life. He lived in Devils Lake, ND most of his life before moving to Winona to be closer to his daughter Shannon and his grandchildren.
He enjoyed spending time listening to oldies, playing cribbage and being outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He was always up for a good car show. Gordy was known for his great sense of humor and his fantastic story telling abilities. His warm spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Gordy is survived by his daughters, Shannon (Chad) and Alonna; grandchildren, Kayla (Oliver), Jacob, Autumn, and Hunter.
Siblings, John, Barb (Bob), and Robert; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Josephine, and siblings, Edward, Fred and Rose Marie. A private family service will be held at a later date.
