(KWNO)-Winona High School senior Lacey Kimmerle is the 2024 Steamboat Days button design winner. The Steamboat Days Committee surprised Kimmerle before classes on Tuesday with the news. Designs by Jack Lenz and Emily Benke garnered second and third place respectively. Both are also students at Winona High. Steamboat Days buttons go on sale on May 17 at area businesses and cost $5. Button sales help support free events such as Grande Parade and the fireworks display.
