Michael L Olson, 80 of Winona, MN, passed away Saturday April 13th, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Healthcare system in Lake City, MN.

Mike was born September 12th, 1943, in Winona, MN to Noel and Helen Olson. He graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1961. On March 8th, 1975, he married Mary Kruse.

Mike worked at Fiberite and retired from Benchmark Electronics in Winona. He was an avid collector of miniature liquor bottles, Jack Daniels and Leinenkugels. He loved weekend trips to random antique shops and liquor stores looking for his treasures. Mike also enjoyed playing poker with his friends and the occasional trip to the casino.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Olson. Daughter Jennifer (Erick) Johnson, and four grandchildren: Alexia (Abe Grable) Sublett, Audrina Frankum, Arabella Frankum and Abram Johnson.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and only sister Patricia Doerer.
