(KWNO)-Police are searching for a woman who allegedly punched an employee at the Mankato Avenue Burger King in Winona. According to a police spokesperson, the suspect used to work at the restaurant but was fired several months ago. On Monday afternoon she returned to the restaurant, went behind the counter, and punched a current employee in the face. The punch cut the victim’s lip, but no medical attention was required. The suspect fled the scene after the assault and police are looking for her. There might be history between the two women. The spokesperson said when the suspect was fired a few months ago, it was because she threw something at the same person who she allegedly assaulted on Monday.
