(KWNO)-Both of the women allegedly involved in crashing their car into an Amish buggy in Fillmore County are now charged. Sarah Peterson will be in court today. Her sister Samantha was already charged in the crash that killed two Amish girls and injured two of their siblings.

At the scene of the crash Sarah told law enforcement she was driving the vehicle but according to the criminal complaint investigators found it was actually her twin sister Samantha behind-the-wheel. The complaint says Samantha was high on methamphetamine and traveling at high rate of speed. Both sisters have long criminal records and have been convicted of providing false names to law enforcement in the past. Sarah is charged with 16-counts. She’s in court today for a judge to set her bond.
