(KWMN)- The Gopher men’s basketball team played Illinois to the wire last night but fell short 105-97 to drop to 17-11 on the season.
It was a stellar night offensively last night, and although head coach Ben Johnson liked the defensive effort, Illinois just couldn’t miss. Three games remain in the regular season for Gopher Basketball, up next is Penn State back at home come Saturday.
Gopher radio Play by Play announcer, Mike Grimm, joined Upon Further Review, to discuss the loss, and what’s ahead for the Gophers.
