(KWNO)-The Winona International Friendship Association is hosting a breakfast and silent auction fundraiser on Sunday at the Winona Middle School. WIFA is raising funds to assist with travel costs for an upcoming cultural exchange trip to Japan. Student ambassadors and chaperones will travel to Misato and Tokyo in April. Five years have passed since the last delegation travelled in 2019. The 2020 trip was cancelled six weeks before its departure due to the pandemic.

The breakfast is 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the door or from any of the student ambassadors. The silent auction is from 9:00 a.m. to noon. You can see auction items on the WIFA Facebook page.
