(KWMN)- For some area teams, sections are next up, for others, there’s one more week of the regular season left.
Girls Scores
Cotter 49-39 Rochester Lourdes
-Cotter earns the #1 overall seed in the section 1AA tournament. They’ll face St. Charles in round one on Thursday night.
Rushford-Peterson 60-39 La Crescent-Hokah
-RP earns the #3 seed in the section 1A tournament. Will face Schaeffer Academy on Thursday night. The Trojans also were placed on the opposite side of Goodhue in their bracket, will still have to face #2 Hayfield if the time comes.
Winona 66-45 Mankato West
-Winona still has two games left in their regular season, with Red Wing tomorrow night, and Austin on Thursday night. Their first section game will be played next Wednesday, Feb. 28th, but seedings and matchups have yet to be released.
Boys Scores
Cotter 64-68 Rochester Lourdes
-Final two games of the regular season will be this week, with RP on Tuesday night on the WSN, and hosting Caledonia on Friday. Their first section game will be on Feb. 29th.
Rushford-Peterson 91-58 Lyle/Pacelli
-RP gets Cotter Tuesday night, and Fillmore Central on Friday night to close out their season. First section game comes on the 29th.
Winona 57-82 Mankato West
-Won’t close out their season until March 1st, with their first section matchup falling on March 5th.
