Buffalo County deputies seize more than 400 grams of meth

(KWNO)-A traffic stop last week in Buffalo County led to deputies finding more than 400 grams of methamphetamine. According to a press release from the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office deputies pulled over a car on State Highway 35 and found more than 31 grams of meth on the driver. He’s identified as 74-year-old Gary Gilberg of Taylor, Wisconsin.

The drugs were packaged in eight individual baggies. Buffalo and Jackson County detectives subsequently searched Gilberg’s residence and found an additional 397 grams of meth also packaged for sale. The street value of meth ranges from $20 to $100 per gram, according to law enforcement officials. Gilberg remains in custody in the Buffalo County Jail.
