Fall 2024 target date for Fravel trial

(KWNO)-The pre-trial hearing for Adam Fravel set a target date for his criminal trial of Fall 2024. Fravel was in Winona County Court on Thursday morning for the omnibus hearing. Fravel’s lawyer Zach Bauer and Winona County Attorney Karin Sonneman discussed the grand jury transcript and the release of other grand jury exhibits.

The attorneys also briefly discussed Fravel’s access to grand jury testimony and exhibits. Sonneman sought reassurance Fravel will be supervised and monitored when viewing those documents.

Winona County Judge Nancy Buytendorp set a due date of January 19 for pre-trial motions and said the court is setting March 19 and 20 and April 30 as dates for other possible pre-trial hearings. Bauer and Sonneman agreed a trial date in September or October of 2024 is plausible.
