(KWNO)-The Goodview Fire Department is bolstering and updating its communication equipment thanks to a $92,000 donation. The Goodview Activity Group provided the money for new portable radios for firefighters and first responders. Goodview Deputy Fire Chief Ben Klinger said in a press release that “it would have taken years for the department to replace these radios” without the donation. Klinger says the new radios have been ordered and will serve the department for many years.
