By Jason Melillo Oct 25, 2023 | 9:44 AM

(KWNO)- Jesse James Robertson was stopped by police near 6th Street and Kansas Street around 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday for driving erratically. He showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests leading to his arrest for misdemeanor DWI. Robertson was released shortly after. Winona Police do not hold people arrested for misdemeanor DWI. Robertson was released to a sober adult, per department policy. Just before 2:00 a.m. Robertson was pulled over again, this time near 6th Street and South Baker Street. According to a police spokesperson, when officers asked Robertson why he was driving again he said “they released me so I thought I was good to go.” Robertson was re-arrested and charged with DWI for the second time in less than two hours.
