(KWNO)-The Winona Symphony Orchestra will play its annual fall concert on Saturday. The concert will feature guest composers Reinaldo Moya and Katherine Bergman and the premier of a new piece by Minnesota composer Libby Larsen called Hayfield. WSO commissioned Larsen to compose the new piece for the orchestra and local baritone soloist Alan Dunbar. According to WSO’s website the piece “celebrates not only our own history in Winona but is distinctly Minnesotan in character. We seek to inspire our community to support us in creating this lasting recording as a legacy for our future that also celebrates our past.”
