(KWNO)-The Rushford Ambulance Service is receiving a grant of $2,500 for emergency response equipment. According to a statement by the city, the money will be used for automated external defibrillators for its ambulances. The grant comes from the Compeer Financial Fund for Rural American, a Farm Credit cooperative giving program, that has granted 177 awards through their Emergency Response Equipment Program.
