Michael Vincent Breza, 83, of Bluff Siding, WI, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Benedictine Senior Living, Winona, MN.
Michael was born September 29, 1940, to Ruth (Rogala) and Vincent Breza in Winona, MN. He married Mary Ellen Sikorski. Together they had 3 sons, Michael, Richard, and Robert. He married Bonnie Wirtz on October 5, 1974. Together they had a daughter, Shannon (Duane Dahlgren) and a son, Mark (Jessica).
Mike worked in many places from the time he was in high school. His career was in sheet metal, owning Shamrock HTG & A/C and crop farming near Dodge, WI. He lived the retirement dream on his 119 acre homestead in Bluff Siding until Alzheimer’s necessitated the move to Benedictine Senior Living for care.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; his children: Michael, Richard (Kim), Robert (Maritza), Shannon, and Mark; grandchildren: Hunter, Sierra, Sydney, Parker, Cassandra, Mitchell, Michael Marie, Geneva, Kaitlin, and Leon Breza, and Michael Dahlgren; brothers: Tim (Mary) and David Breza; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; half-brothers: Gene Breza and John Rogala; and half-sister Elaine (Breza) Ziegenfuss.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Winona, with The Very Reverend Mark C. McNea officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, October 20, at Fawcett Junker Funeral Home, Winona. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Winona.
