(KWNO)-The Winona Cotter Athletic Hall of Fame held an induction ceremony Friday for three former student-athletes. Kelly (Kukowski) Bartelson, Jessica (Weisbrod) Schneider and Pat Wiltgen received the honor during a ceremony at St. Joseph Hall.
Bartelson (Class of 2004) played volleyball, basketball and softball for the Ramblers. She was the first female to score 1,000 points and was a shortstop on Cotter’s 2003 state championship softball team.
Schneider (Class of 2004) was also a three-sport athlete. She excelled as a post player on the hardwood and was catcher on Cotter’s 2003 state championship softball team. She went on to play four years of college basketball at Saint Mary’s University. Schneider is still in the top ten in career rebounds and blocks for the Cardinals.

Wiltgen (Class of 1968) played football, basketball and baseball at Cotter. He was a two-year starter at quarterback, a shooting guard on the hardwood and a pitcher/infielder/outfielder on the diamond. At St. Mary’s College Wiltgen led the MIAC in scoring as a senior and tallied 1,152 career points for the Cardinals. Wiltgen went on to be a coach, athletic director and official.
