Masturbating as kids walk by on their way to school, Winona man arrested

(KWNO)-A Winona man allegedly masturbated on his front porch when kids were walking by on their way to school. A complaint last week prompted Winona Police to set up surveillance on a house in the 1200 block of West 7th Street. Officers observed Kenneth Edwin Gleiter, 67, masturbating on his porch several times over the next week. Gleiter was arrested on Wednesday.

According to a Winona Police spokesperson Gleiter masturbated in the morning between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. because that’s when kids were walking by his house. Gleiter told police he “hasn’t been doing it that long and it won’t happen anymore.” Following an initial court appearance Gleiter has since been released. He is charged with lewd exhibition in the presence of a minor and indecent exposure, among other charges.
