Winhawk Football Runway
(KWMN)- The Winona Senior High Football team will open their 2023 campaign tomorrow night, as they travel north to face defending AAAA state champs in Simley High School.
The Winhawks welcome back Jr. QB Deion Prolo to the team. With a season under his belt, he’s looking more poised, confident, and ready to turn some heads. The Winhawks did lose a lot of players, however, and key ones at that. Bryan Cassellius, Wesley Wollan, Dominic Davis and more, all graduated last spring. There will be plenty of new faces taking over on both sides of the ball, but to have confidence at the QB position will go a long way.
Head Coach for the Winhawks, Bryan Cassellius, spoke with the Winona Sports Network during training camp.
