(KWNO)-The Winona Farmers Market is celebrating half a century on Saturday morning. The market opens at 7:30 a.m. and special events will kick off at 10:00. People can enjoy a cooking demo by Inga Witscher from WPT’s “Around the Farm Table” and a corn husking competition. Those attending are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair and listen to live music from Bell House Band who will lead the crowd in a sing-along. Sarah Johnson from The Joy Labs will be joining with River Arts Alliance for an all-ages art activity and drawings for farmers market giveaways will be going on throughout the event.
