(KWNO)-A tractor ran over a woman in Lewiston on Saturday. According to the Winona County Sheriff’s Office, 74-year-old Hoa Lanz suffered “severe injuries” in the farm accident in the 27,000 block of County Highway 25. Deputies on the scene reported the tractor came out of gear, possibly when it was being disengaged from another piece of equipment called a chopper box. The tractor then rolled and hit Hoa who might’ve been standing between the tractor and chopper box, according to Sheriff Jeff Mueller. Hoa was taken by ambulance to Winona Health and then airlifted to either Gunderson-Lutheran or Mayo.
