(KWNO)-A special prosecutor will help authorities in the case of missing Winona woman Madeline Kingbury. Madeline’s sister Megan Kingsbury confirming to KTTC television that Phillip Prokopowicz is working with law enforcement regarding Madeline’s disappearance and will assist if any charges are brought.
Prokopowicz is a retired, former Dakota County prosecutor. Madeline Kingsbury has been missing for six weeks, last seen after dropping her kids off at day care. The last person known to have seen Kingsbury is the father of her kids Adam Fravel. Fravel has not been named as a suspect or person of interest by law enforcement.
