(KWNO)-A train carrying ethanol caught on fire in Plainview, according to the Winona County Office of Emergency Management. Canadian Pacific Railroad reported a train locomotive on fire around 2:03 pm on Sunday near Whitman Deering Road. 
Minnesota City and Rollingstone Fire Departments responded but couldn’t locate the train. The reporting party updated the location to 6th Street and Martina Road in Goodview. The Goodview Fire Department joined the search and crews found the train. A small fire in a compartment of the locomotive was quickly extinguished and officials say there was no danger to the public.
