(KWNO)- Winona Arts Center is inviting the public to attend their Cinco De Mayo celebration tomorrow, May 5, at 7:00 p.m. from the Winona Arts Center.
The evening will feature the classic 1954 film, Salf of the Earth. The film centers around the 1951 strike against the Empire Zinc Company in Grant County, New Mexico, and follows the miners, their families navigate through life during the strike.
There will be treats for the evening as well. Salsa and chips, and non-alcoholic sangria headline the snack platter.
Tickets are $5 per person and will be available at the door upon entry.
