(KWNO)- The Winona City Council is set to meet tomorrow, May 1, at 6:30 p.m.
The council will meet on the third floor of City Hall in the City Council Chambers. The meeting is open to the public and the council encourages participants. The meeting is also available online via Microsoft teams-visit the city of Winona website to find that information.
Amongst a packed agenda will be various zoning issues to discuss, but the issue that will draw headlines will be the discussion of Bird scooters and their return to Winona for the summer.

The bill's proponents say the practice of large industries piggybacking on a city's water-use permit helps them avoid public scrutiny and puts the state's groundwater supply at risk.
