(KWNO)- The Winona State Football team has been holding their spring practices since the beginning of this month as the spring season will come to end after tomorrow’s ‘Spring Game’ from Maxwell Field.
The game will begin at 2:00 p.m. but Winona State will host its Gameday Experience prior to the event.
This will be the first chance to see the Warrior Football team in action since the conclusion of the season. It will also be the first opportunity to get a look at the new players the Warriors acquired over the offseason.
Head Coach Brian Bergstrom told the Winona Sports Network ahead of the game,
“We are excited for the Spring Game tomorrow! Our primary goal every practice is to grow and improve, compete stay healthy and have fun. Tomorrow is opportunity #15 for us to do that this spring. We have improved a ton in the last month, and now it’s time to finish. 1-0.”
Spring Games are rarely, if ever, indicative of how a season will go. More so a gauge for coaches to see how much progress has taken place during the offseason. Nonetheless, it’s a blast for the fans.
