(KWNO)- The Winona County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Southeastern Minnesota Violent Crimes Task Force, served a search warrant to a Lewiston home on the 23000 block of Highway 14.
Justin Mercer, aged 34, Justine Ganz, aged 35, Robert Coey, aged 37, and Aaron Devorak aged 44, all were arrested for 5th Degree Possession Charges.
County officials say that there were several items of paraphernalia around the home, and that the charges were based off of residue amounts of drugs around the home.
The Winona County Sheriff’s office also added that officers found a bag containing 41 grams of an unknown substance. Officers tested the substance in the bag, but nothing they test for came back positive. It was sent for further testing with the State.
The search warrant was issued due to an ongoing investigation of illegal narcotics activities from the residence.
There was a total of seven officers conducting the search, three county deputies, and four officers from the Task Force.
