
(KWNO)- The family & Children’s Center (FCC) announced more than $230,000 in donations as part of the Bridges for Better Tomorrow matching challenge grant.
The FCC also announced that the deadline for donations for the matching challenge grant has been extended to December 31st.
Ellen Hongerholt, Director of Advancement & Marketing for the FCC, says,
“The response has been outstanding to take a Relentless Stand to protect children and support mental health needs. FCC is a bridge to child abuse prevention centers, healthy families programs, domestic abuse support, mental health therapy, and much more.”
The funds received will be going towards FCC’s 25 prevention, intervention, and treatment programs in Black River Falls, La Crosse, Sparta, Viroqua, and Winona.
The area FCCs serve 4,600 people annually.
