Winona State University Announces Fall 2022 Commencement Schedule

(KWNO)-Winona State University is hosting its annual fall commencement ceremonies on Friday, December 9th, on the Winona campus in McCown Gym at Memorial Hall.

Ceremony times vary by college, so make sure to mark your calendars for the first ceremony, which will include the College of Business, the College of Liberal Arts, and the College of Science and Engineering and will begin at 9 a.m. The College of Education and the College of Nursing and Health Sciences will hold a second ceremony, which will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Family and friends of graduates are welcome to arrive 30 minutes prior to each ceremony when the doors to the event hall open. Early arrival is recommended, as tickets are not required and therefore seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Late arrivals may go to the Harriet Johnson Auditorium in Somsen Hall, where overflow seating will be available.

Each ceremony will be live streamed, and captions will be offered in multiple languages. Those interested in viewing the livestreams may do so on the WSU website, available at winona.edu/commencement.

The commencement ceremonies will also be broadcast live on HBC TV 25 on Friday, December 9. HBC TV 25 will also, at subsequent times, rebroadcast each ceremony as follows:

9 a.m. Ceremony: 8:30 p.m. on December 10 and 3 p.m. on December 11;

11:30 a.m. Ceremony: 11 p.m. on December 10 and 6 p.m. on December 11.
