(KWNO)-On Wednesday, November 23rd, Winona County officers, along with state patrol officers, responded to reports of a domestic dispute happening in the vehicle that was pulled over into a rest area.
The responding officers spoke with both parties involved in the dispute and ultimately arrested Cody Mark West, 19, of La Crescent.
West was charged with fifth-degree domestic assault for threatening to crash his car into the river to kill himself and his passenger.
The unnamed passenger was in fear for her life due to his driving behavior and threats.
