(KWNO)-The Holiday House Tour will be happening Sunday, December 4th, between 3 and 8 p.m.
This winter fundraiser has been hosted by the Winona County Historical Society for more than three decades. The self-guided tour of six homes and a church can be done in any order.
Tickets for the general public are $18 and $15 for members at the History Center. Tickets are available now and on the day of the tour at the History Center. Each ticket purchased includes a map, location histories, a bag for rain and snow-laden shoes, and a coupon for the History Center Shop.
Get inspired this holiday season by exploring some of Winona’s historic homes. As a bonus, this year, the tour will feature apartments and common spaces in the former Madison and Central Elementary Schools. Attendees will also find festive treats and live music along the way.
Entry at each stop on the tour will require the presentation of tickets. Due to inclement weather, the Historical Society asks all attendees to remove their shoes at the private residences and use the bags provided with the ticket purchase.
Tour volunteers will be available at each stop on the tour to help and to answer questions.
