Winona Health Offering Flu Vaccines and COVID-19 Boosters on Walk-in Basis

(KWNO)-Winona residents seeking flu vaccinations and/or COVID-19 boosters are encouraged to stop by the Winona Health Clinic between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Standard flu vaccinations are available for Winonans 6 months of age and older. The Flublok® vaccine is available for people age 50 and older, and a high-dose vaccine is available for those individuals age 65 or older.

The COVID-19 booster developed to provide additional protection against the Omicron variant is now approved for ages 5 and up. Winona residents who have completed their primary COVID-19 vaccination series (primary series or booster) and have had at least two months between doses are eligible for this booster.

To expedite all walk-in visits to the Winona Health Clinic, visitors are encouraged to wear a mask, wear clothing that allows the upper arm to be quickly and easily accessible, and bring relevant insurance and vaccination cards. Long wait times are possible as this is a walk-in service.
