(KWNO)-Winona is home to many talented local musicians, and thanks in part to the Winona Arts Center, the Winds of Winona will be performing in concert at the Winona Arts Center on November 12th at 7 PM.
The Winds of Winona has something for everyone with a woodwind repertoire ranging from baroque to jazz.
The quintet features Ruth and Frank Bures, Ryan Ballanger, Chris Buswell on clarinet and bass clarinet, and Heidi Bryant on flute. The ensemble is made up of members of the Winona Municipal Band, each of whom performs as a soloist while also participating in other local and regional performance groups.
The evening’s performance will be a mix of clarinet quartets, flute and clarinet duets, and quintets.
Tickets will be available for purchase in advance for $10 or at the door for $15. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Hardt’s Music until 4 PM on November 22nd, or through Eventbrite.
While masks are encouraged, they are not required.
